Well the morning went by with my daughter acting fussy and clingy which led to me getting the bare minimum done than I had originally desired. On top of that she had developed a pretty bad rash on her lower back that looks extremely painful and my heart ached for her each time I looked at it. She did not seem to mind although like I said she was a bit more fussy and clingy than usual. So when my wife got home she checked it out and decided we better call the doctors office to see if they had any insight on what we should do. Well we called and explained what was going on and they felt that we should bring her in to get a doctors opinion. Here is the catch to this whole scenario, we live an hour and a half from our pediatrics office. So within 20 minutes we were in the car and on the road. We got to the doctors office and waited about 45 minutes for the doctor to see us and give us the diagnoses. Nothing to serious just a bad rash and sensitive skin so we got the prescriptions, picked up some food and headed back home.
"Well looks like I will not get any running in today" I thought along the drive home as the sun set and we arrived home around 8:30pm. So the moral of the story is to not let a moment pass because once it passes it is gone and you can not get it back. The snooze button mentality of "Just a few more minutes" and the procrastination thought of "I will do it later" may have got the best of me today but be assured that tomorrow is a new day with another beautiful morning to wake up to. So as with any day the sun will set only to bring forth the sunrise of morning. When it does I will be there to greet it and admire the beauty that I missed greatly today.
